As my eyes stare at the endless sky;
the lonely moon looks back at me, smiling.
A pitying smile, looking down on my silly conversation,
with my sole companion, my self, my shadow.
I pity myself, drowning myself in tears;
neither do i see the moon nor my shadow.
To share a laugh, millions come forward;
A lonely heart's tears; dries on its own.
God's gift, i wander in emptiness;
strengthening my blindfolded soul.
On the brighter side, meaningless words from me;
space offers an endless opportunity
for this blind soul to look forward to.
An enlightening lesson from a dark night;
alien language to the closed minds:
ALL THAT WE LIVE IN;
ALL THAT WE EARN;
ALL THAT WE LEAVE;
JUST A HOLE IN SPACE.
All that I ask for, a blind prayer;
a hole in space....
Let the heavenly light through;
and let our souls rest in peace.
